Launching Summer 2025

It all started 35 years ago when Rob Webb & BJ Parker DJ'd together in high school. Rob signed a record deal in 1992 with King Goody Records in Nashville then went on to work as an audio engineer and producer in Nashville. Years passed. Rob got burnt out of the music business and went into the coffee business to come full circle after 22 years. Rob & BJ wanted to bring authenticity back to Hip-Hop and specifically to Nashville Hip-Hop mixing a blend of old production techniques and sound with the new. In 2018 Rob and BJ started the Hip-Hop group Break 2 which led them to start Southbound Records for Hip-Hop and R&B artists. Equipped with a full recording studio, guest quarters, years of experience in the business, and a culture to allow the artist to be the artist they wish to be we are in the process of signing a handful of artists, so if you feel like you have something special to say and a unique sound head over to our contact page and drop us a line with a link to your music.
