Rob graduated from Lipscomb University with a Bachelors of Arts in Classical Piano and from Middle Tennessee State with a Masters in classical piano. In 1992 Rob was signed to Nashville's King Goody Records owned by the legendary organist Kossie Gardner. Afterwards Rob worked as an audio engineer in Nashville until 2003. After almost 10 years of writing and producing music with Break 2 he decided to start Southbound Records to help redefine Nashville Hip Hop and R&B and give artists all of the country an opportunity to have a label support their underground Hip-Hop and R&B.

Bryant, also known as B.J., graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin and has had a long career in the Golf and Turf business. 

As a passion and hobby for many years, he was a DJ and podcaster and is the host of the “Making the Turn Podcast”. B.J. has been producing and writing music for the last 10+ years as “Money B” aka “the B Double” and is the other half of the Underground Nashville Hip-Hop/Rap group/duo Break Two. 

B.J. and Rob have been friends and music enthusiast together for over 30+ years and are now looking to make waves in the Nashville scene as artists and producers and together are a hell of a team and now look to change the landscape of Nashville Hip-Hop and R&B with the formation of Southbound Records.
